Biography

ShEver began their work in 2004, when they released the demo “The Mirror”, which contained just 3 tracks. The original lineup consisted of Melanie (drums), Alexandra (vocals), Jessica (guitar, vocals) and Nadine (bass, violin, vocals).

Together they started touring around the Swiss, French and Austrian scenarios. They already recorded in 2006 which is their only album to date “Oceans Of Illusions”, an album that offers pure Doom, a-la-My Dying Bride. An album with very good sound although being self-made, funny, oppressive, slow, heavy, intriguing and interesting.

Alternating melodic vocals, ragged, guttural (their best), the album runs through the dark terrains of the genre, with songs that make long and slow journeys (actually 6 songs fill 55 minutes).

In August 2007 Sarah replaced the former drummer Melanie, with whom ShEver toured Germany and Switzerland to present their album.

Already in 2009, ShEver returned with a four-track EP, titled “A Dialogue With The Dimensions”. In 2010, shEver played the legendary Doom Shall Rise festival, the Roadburn Festival in holland, as well as the March of Fallen II in Italy and the Doom Over Bielefeld III in Germany.

In spring 2011, the new album “Ritual” was recorded and was released in spring 2012 by TotalRust on CD and in autumn 2012 by Svart Records on vinyl.

In autumn 2012 Nadine decided to leave the band, being replaced by Chris.
