Biography:
Hovario is an all girl band formed in 2003, influenced by bands such as Kittie, Korn, Mudvayne, Pantera, Otep, Fear Factory, Slipknot, Metallica and others. The current lineup features the following members: LuH, Gra and Dan. The band became a trio at the end of 2008, when the guitarist and vocalist Viviane left the band.

Vivi and Gra founded the band in 2003, and until 2005 the band had many different formations and a musical genre totally different that it haves now.

Hovario has performed in many events in the Underground scene, such as “Grito do Rock” (Scream of Rock) which is programmed every year in some regions of Brazil and Latin America, at “Festival Interlude”, reaching the second place in the event, and most recently they played in the “Festival de Rock Feminino” (Festival Female Rock) in Rio Claro. This female metal trio has also performed as OTEP’s opening act in Rio de Janeiro.

“Ultra – Som” (Ultra – Sound) was the first and independent band’s album (featuring 10 tracks), and they currently working on the next LP. Two songs of this new album, “Self Control” and “It Dies Today”, have already been performed in some concerts.
